Around this time four years ago, a handful of too-gay-to-function denizens of greater Cleveland descended upon several locations throughout the west side in the hopes of connecting with others and listening to some weird thumping electronic music. Somehow this has snowballed into almost 48 of these monthly gatherings full of sweat, tears, friends, more gay shit, and on and on for all eternity. Many lives have changed and more freak music has been danced to, please join us in another evening of celebrating what has transpired through all of this and what's still to come, with a cast of some of our favorite friends both old and new.

VIA APP [LIVE] (BANK Records NYC / PTP, NYC) - Our out of town guest for the night will be the formidable Via App coming all the way from NYC to set the night off with a freaks only live set, in between HAUS OF HUN performing and CLARK PRICE closing the night out. One of our favorite new friends we've gotten to make since the last time we got together to plan an anniversary party, her affinity for uncompromising techno, gay stuff, and a commitment to the real helps to encapsulate what we have set out to make space for with In Training. Getting her start with electronic music through leftfield techno and noise shows during her time spent living in Boston, a move to NYC several years ago has catapulted her into more widespread national and international acclaim, releasing a well received 12" on BANK and a wild and otherworldy full length LP on Break World Records. No amount of rhythmic mayhem is off limits for consumption and regurgitation through the mind and machines of the Appetizer, strap on a nice harness and come give her a warm welcome to Cleveland.

CLARK PRICE [DJ} (HONCHO, PGH) - Closing the night out for us after VIA APP will be our extended family member CLARK PRICE coming down from the city of Steel and Penguins to let loose his patented homosexual brand of squelches, breaks, and grooves for all leather bar attendees. A co-founder and resident of the long running Honcho parties / event series usually based at the nationally renowned Hot Mass afterhours club, he's recently taken the world by storm with sets in Berlin, San Francisco's freaky Folsom weekend, Detroit, and a show stealing In Training favorite opening set at the annual Honcho Summer Campout he helps oversee. Clark has become a musical and personal extended family member of In Training since he first played two years ago at one of the best parties we've ever gotten to throw, and we're thrilled to welcome him back to close the night out and bring things full circle up the last note of the night. Expect throbs, moans, and mind + body enhancing tracks only.

HAUS OF HUN [LIVE] (CLE) - Longtime In Training alumni HICKEY HUN and COCO EBONY HUN will be representing the HAUS OF HUN on this night with a short but sweet live performance delivered with a poise and vision from far beyond this world. Comprising audio, visual, dance/body movement, and everything in between, their performance will showcase their unique brand of drag performance and queendom mixed with a taste for all things truly eccentric and strange - including but not limited to Coco's newfound affinity for DJing and track selections. Ever since being brought into our world by their house mother HIM HUN, the Haus has been represented at In Training in various incarnations, and always bring a necessary element of queerness and physicality to our domain. Come in a good LQQK and get ready to twirl with them.

GLACIAL23 [LIVE] (DISCO PARADISO/SEQUEL SOUND, CLE) - Our day one commander of acid, new beat rhythm, and sounds from beyond will be returning to the stage for a live performance to help open the night up along with Mx. Silkman. Combining dreamy synth parts, acid lines, and custom built synthesizer wizardry, GLACIAL23 has been an invaluable friend and personal asset to In Training since day one and has been long overdue all year to come through and show the public what he's been at home sautering together. Recently, he's had releases on SEQUEL SOUND recordings and become a resident/organizer of the recurring DISCO PARADISO parties here in Cleveland, indulging a focus on new beat/italo/freestyle sounds and anything and everything in between. His commitment to gear knowledge and being able to rock a live set anywhere from a dive bar to a goth night is unparalleled, and should not be missed by any regulars or new dancers in our midst.

MX SILKMAN [DJ] (IN TRAINING, CLE) - Our princess of punishment returns from a short tour of Berlin and Bucharest to open the night up for us this year, with her usual enticing array of industrial rhythms and lesbian techno anthems, plus some potential surprises in store for all the early bird leather clad attendees. She recently released her debut album under her Auton alias on In Training 3 year anniversary alumni Doc Sleep's label Jacktone Records.
