Last year, Swearin’ announced their comeback, and recently, they’ve released a new single while announcing a third studio album. “A thundering return”, according to Pitchfork. The band still offers a great pop-punk sound, with an obvious touch of classic nineties indie. The band is characterized by the sound of lead-singer Allison Crutchfield, who used to be part of the twee-pop duo P.S. Elliot, together with twin sister Kate Crutchfield. Allison is also known for contributing to Kate’s solo project Waxahatchee. On the 5th of October, the third album of Swearin’ will be released.
