ClubClass featuring debut of Sander Kleinenberg

  • A regular talking point amongst our followers, both old and new, is who would they like to see at ClubClass. Over the years we’ve tried our best to supply you with the very biggest and best names in underground dance music but despite your numerous pleas never Sander Kleinenberg. Shame on us. So with our third party of 2006 at River looming on Sunday 2nd April, we thought it was only right that we welcomed the deep and sexy sounds of Sander to ClubClass for the very first time. Kleinenberg is of course one of the world’s most in-demand DJs, a man used to playing at the world’s biggest events, in the world’s biggest venues. In 2005 he came in at a more than respectable 20 in DJ magazines Top 100 DJ poll, whilst his residencies at the Ministry Of Sound in London and Crobar in New York continue to be marked in the ‘breathtaking’ category. Needless to say we feel somewhat privileged that such a major player in our scene has agreed to showcase his superlative talents in the limited 300 capacity of River, and we’re not the first people to proclaim that this is very much a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness one of Holland’s favourite sons. Joining Sander is of course our resident supreme Nic Fanciulli. His acid driven, mind bending performances as of late have been nothing short of outstanding, with Nic wowing crowds across the planet. And no matter where he is the previous night (Portugal in this case), Nic always returns to his home town for our Sunday parties with a bit between his teeth, ready to deliver another knockout performance. Completing Room 1’s lineup is three of Futurism’s hottest rising stars; Sam Ball, fresh from the news that his latest production ‘Dynamo’ has being signed by Urban Torque and Dzierzek & Liousias, one of the most exciting DJ duos we’ve laid our eyes on in a very long time and ready to repeat the carnage of their set at ClubClass on New Years Day with yet more dirty, electronic tunage. In Room 2 Breakpoint returns following its incredibly successful launch in February. Both Breakpoint nights at River (as part of ClubClass’ 9th Birthday) and at the Ministry (as part of ClubClass’ London Launch) were overwhelming success stories with resident Mark Fanciulli receiving major plaudits along the way. He’ll be looking for more of the same this time round, especially when help comes in the form of Babyshakes residents James Allardyce & Duncan K aka The Shake DJs and ClubClass debutants Rich Belsom and C.H.A.P. from Bournemouth. How you mark it in your diary is up to you (Sander’s Sunday or Sunday with Sander are two possible options). Just remember that the Songs Of Praise on this Sunday will be well and truly heard at ClubClass for a bargain price of just £5. So make sure you’re in attendance for what will be another unforgettable occasion... ClubClass.
