After a crazy edition at the epic Tomorrowland, Age Of Love prepares for a new XXL edition in Arts Center Vooruit, Ghent. As you already know, music is key at Age Of Love. The line-up always includes the best artists who only bring top-class retro music from the nineties. For the edition in October, Age Of Love has a nice surprise in store! They invite no one less than the famous Marcello to turn Vooruit upside down!
For those who do not know him yet, here is a brief introduction. Marcello a.k.a Marcel Bakker has put a lot of Dutch clubs on the international dance map. His claim to fame came with the dawning of rave culture in 1990 when he started his legendary Sunday residency at the iT club in Amsterdam. He transformed this Top40's oriented place into Holland's premier house temple for which clubbers from all over Europe would queue up to visit and dance to the best tunes of Marcello!
As if a visit from Marcello is not enough, Age Of Love fills the musical program with the following heavyweights: Insider, who will bring a live set, Frank De Wulf from R&S records, Cherry Moon-champion and Bonzai figurehead Yves Deruyter, Age Of Love-resident Quincy, DJ George's known from La Bush and Lagoa, Phi Phi who moved several dance feet at the former Boccaccio & Extreme and Tom Lerclerq from Zillion! All DJs will go to the max to play all those tunes that you love the most, in their own special ways.
The necessary attention is paid to light, decor and sound. No effort or expense is spared to bring you back to the blissful 90s. You can expect outstanding lasershows, a wicked soundsystem, thrilling dance acts and heaps of other exciting surprises. You know where to head to on October 27!
