He has a unique sound which draws heavily from Techno, Electro and Electronica ensuring this Dutch artist is always pushing the Dubstep sound forward and in new directions. For a night of stellar future music this is one show not to miss.
Currently 2562 is preparing the release of his second album ‘Unbalance’ due in October 2009, taking a fresh new direction. The intergalactic machine funk of recent 12” Love in Outer Space, arguably his most colorful release so far, serves as a cracking taster.
Known for an energetic dj’ing style and wide knowledge of electronic music, 2562 is a proper selector who enjoys making a trip out of a dj-set, going across the board and mixing up brand new dubs from the studio with unexpected classics. He played a.o. in clubs like Berghain (Berlin), Fabric (London) and 11/Trouw (Amsterdam), at dubstep/bass-strongholds Subloaded, FWD and Sub Dub, and at numerous festivals and underground venues from Scandinavia to Japan and from the US to Russia.
