This Easter weekend sees the return of Londons biggest dance event with the South West Four launch party @ The Brixton Academy featuring one of the worlds biggest DJs CARL COX doing a mammoth 4 hour set. At midnight Cox will be launching this year’s festival with an amazing live stage show where he will be announcing the huge line-up for the upcoming festival. Joining Carl in the main arena will be MR C (The Shamen / The End), and the man - TIM SHERIDAN (NastyDirtySexMusic) who will be shaking the 3500 capacity room to its foundations.
This huge party will also be running three other areas featuring some of London’s top promotions. First up is DIRTYGROOVE who have stood out over the past year as a promotion with consistently cutting edge music policies and super talented resident DJs. You’ll find these guys playing in every major London club, as well as abroad in places such as Ibiza, Marbella, Turkey, Poland & China. On the 15th resident DJs Dave Joyce, Tom Allan, Helen Joyce, Nick Ronin, James Lewis, Rysty, and special guest Fraser Owen will be playing the most upfront dirty house, electro, and breaks in what is set to the dirtiest room for the night…
The academy foyer is hosted by PLATFORM12 who have DJs Clive Morley, Lady Killa, Travis Lucas, playing alongside heavyweight guests - MEAT KATIE, FUTURE FUNK SQUAD, and ALI B. Expect nothing but the finest breaks from this crew.
One other area will feature the funky sounds of promotions Hot & Spicy, and PlushdaFunk with DJs: John Paul, Liam D, Peter Andrew, Dean Steer, MasterK, Nick Hudson, Shylo, and Steve Rothery.
