A bunch of records you don’t usually get to hear, in a way you wouldn't usually experience them. On Friday 1st of Feb, Dan the man Shake will be in charge of Room 1. Everyone’s heard the story about how he became the first artist outside of Detroit to get signed to Moodymann’s Mahogani Music label by giving him a CD at Dimensions, but it’s worth hearing again because a) it’s kinda a big deal and b) it’s very, very cool. Since then Dan has just gone to strength to strength with classy releases and world-beating, party-starting DJ sets - last time he dropped in to Hangar for us it was absolute blast and we’re expecting nothing less this time round - oh and he’s got 5 hours to play with... Meanwhile Room 2 will see Sally C in control for the duration. Cutting her teeth running parties in Ireland, Sally’s been honing her craft in Berlin over the last few years. Her sets re-contextualise early 90s house and techno gems into something fresh and pretty damn exciting. She’s been whipping up dancefloors for the likes of Bicep and Denis Sulta recently - we reckon with a chance to dig deep over an extended set we could be taken somewhere else entirely. Buckle up.
