Touching Bass will be kicking off our Bleep × NTS - Merch Takeover of our recordshop, where we have 8 collectives and crews from the radio station who have all respectively designed a limited edition t-shirt which will be sold exclusively in the Bleep store.
Touching Bass are a burgeoning movement of London-based soul disciples — led by Errol Andwot and Alex Rita — that hold down a biweekly NTS Radio session, a non-alcoholic, live music/discussion-based series called 'Speaking In Sound' and a regular dance (communicated via text). Selling exclusively in-store is a super limited t-shirt collaboration with NTS Radio, Bleep and rising illustrator, Rome Plus Art. Plus a limited, last few cassette tapes from their 2017 debut mixtape which The Vinyl Factory described as "channeling the spirit of Sun Ra, Digable Planets and Dilla across 12 tracks of jazzy beats, spoken word and soul...[likening them to] London’s modern day Soulquarians."
The in-store will be soundtracked by members of the extended TB family, who'll be spinning tunes from across the soulful spectrum from 4-8pm. Come dance nuh.
