Movida Corona 2009 - the most eagerly-anticipated Amateur DJ competition is back! Movida Corona is joined by music channel MTV to launch the 9th edition of the Amateur DJ contest to find the next big legend in House Music in Europe. Corona Extra, the premium imported beer from Mexico, is making Europe’s clubs spin with the launch of the 9th edition of Movida Corona, the competition for amateur House Music DJs that travels 13 European countries to find the next rising star on the scene. The contest, which has been running since 2000, offers a chance for hundreds of participants to become a professional DJ. The winner of Movida Corona 2009 will sign an exclusive contract with Ministry Of Sound to participate at four events in 2010. The winner also be mixing a CD compilation with PIAS Records. In addition, the winner and two finalists will have the chance to perform at the Electric Stage of the Rock‘n’Rio summer festival in Madrid in 2010.
