With a prolific career spanning over 40 years, Jose Padilla is no less than Balearic royalty. He is best known for being the resident of Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza where he subsequently started the legendary mix series. The compilation series is one of the longest running and best selling in history, seeing the release of more than 70 mixes. The Barcelona born DJ is also responsible for pioneering Chill-out, a genre that captures a calm, idyllic atmosphere and continues to strive within the dance world. 40 years on and Padilla’s passion and soul is still injected into his music as it was when he first fell in love with the island. Experience Ibiza in Hackney wick with a rare London appearance on 11th January with a real legend. This is not one to be missed!
