  • Triumphantly returning for a third year ‘Get Loaded In The Park’ will kick off the promotional ball with a launch party at London club Turmills. Traditionally blending indie and dance into one all day music session the event will attract more than 20,000 punters keen to lap up the last of the Summer sunshine and enjoy a festival atmosphere usually associated with large greener pastures outside of the nations capital. The launch party will take place on Easter Sunday April 16 featuring the usual wide array of talent you would expect from the Get Loaded crew. Artists will include The Dead 60’s (DJ Set) – rare DJ set from Liverpool’s lovable ska band, Stereo MCs (DJ Set), previous GLITP hosts The Cuban Brothers, Happy Monday’s Bez, Southern Fried’s Cagedbaby (DJ Set) and a DJ set from Clor, John Kennedy (X-FM), Kid Carpet, Jeff Automatic, the Backstage Sluts and the Broken Hooker Deejays. The Topfloor will adding further flavour to the night outside the traditional music realm with sophisticated drugs baron Howard Marks performing an exclusive “Audience with…” - a new sketch taken from his forthcoming book. He’ll be joined by the Comedy Store who continue their association with GLITP with gags and giggles galore - courtesy of three stand up comics. It wouldn’t be Easter without an Egg hunt, so keep an eye out for hidden chocolate gems throughout the night.
