With multiple chart toppers on Beatport’s top minimal download chart, including his first number one, a remix of Bini & Martini’s ‘Stop’ and more recently ‘Afrikaans’, he’s cemented himself as one of the most significant music shapers in the industry. Being crowned one of Beatport’s Best Artists in 2008’s Beatport Music Awards, adds to his esteem.

Italian born Luca began DJing and producing in his native Italy. His big break came when he was signed to Tenax Recordings. Fast-forward to 2009 and his remixes and EPs have been signed to over ten labels including Canada’s Wagon Repair, Ovum, and Supernature.
He plays sets from Tokyo to Ibiza, Sydney to New York, Berlin and beyond. Luca Bacchetti will play four dates in Sydney before jetting off to the United States to continue his international tour.
