Depending on whom you ask, Matthew Dear is a DJ, a dance-music producer, an experimental pop artist, a bandleader. He co-founded both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound. He’s had remixes commissioned by The XX, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Spoon, Hot Chip, The Postal Service, and Chemical Brothers; he’s made mixes for the Fabric mix series and Get Physical’s Body Language. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none—and he’s just hitting his stride.

Iain Howie has shared the stage with recognized acts such as Bob Moses, Jacques Greene and John Talabot, and frequently plays at Vancouver’s most well-known, underground venues. His sets are unique and tailored to time and place, his original compositions filled with lyricism and musicality and his use of live instruments and field recordings in his productions are just another indication of his creativity and skill. Rhombus, a Vancouver/Berlin collective, brought Howie’s first EP ‘Awake’ to the forefront, and he has since put out material on local and international labels.

tokiomi is a Tokyo-born, Vancouver-based, producer, and performer. Tokiomi’s music is inspired from British Columbia’s beautiful landscapes and his Japanese background. He has been performing live for many years in Canada, Japan and other countries. He recently performed closing night at Mutek Montreal 2017 and Basscoast Festival 2018. His live set is always expressing a short movie in his head with the rhythm of daily noise and dreamy vibes.

Nathan Hall Currently living in Sea to Sky country, specifically Squamish, Canada. Nathan Hall is a genre-melting producer and selector of music that is quite hard to define. Where tempo starts slowly and evolves organically, going where it needs to go. Where the edges dissolve and mix to create something that can only be described as simply his sound. Slow Techno, House, Multicultural, Electronica/Ambient, you name it, so long as it reaches through the discerning filters of his aesthetic.
