Following the success birthday in December, we are revisiting the same format for the first in a series of null+void Live events in 2019 - four live sets from four singular electronic artists on a powerful rig in the heart of Hackney. We look forward to coming together for another power session of sounds from some of the most interesting producers we know.
Junq (Art Mechanical / Cultivated Electronics)
Junq’s sound has a depth and power that brings together the best from acid, electro and breakbeat rave. His releases might have been few and far between but each one has delivered a kick that has made him a cultish figure with records that consistently sell out.
Simon Lynch (London Modular Alliance / Freerotation)
One of the members of London Modular Alliance and founders of the synth shop of similar name - Simon’s command of modular synthesis is has been some of the most compelling we’ve witnessed. His 100% improvised performances see him weave together other-worldly electro tracks whether this is closing out Freerotation Festival or running the pub system at Bloc Weekend. Simon is also part of L-R - one third of the group behind nul002.
Dead Sound (null+void)
He’s someone who has been in Kirsti’s DJ sets pretty much since she started playing. In 2018 we released an EP on null+void showing off the groove locked sound he has become known for. Dead Sound will bring together his industrial edged kick for a rare London appearance.
Zodiac Childs (Zodiac Wax)
The act behind new and exciting label Zodiac Wax Zodiac Childs productions have started to get to the right heads. Bringing together raved up acid and deep electro - this is an exclusive debut from an exciting and new production team.
