2010 – The year we make contact.
Having been just a far vision of our future on celluloid back in 1984, this has now become club reality of a visionary kind in Frankfurt. The U.F.O. (which is the official name of the building where cocoonclub is located) has already landed several stardates ago and cocoonclub is still looking far into the future and is always presenting new musical life forms which are communicating through the enormous sound system sending extraordinary measurements to the spaceship visitors. In order to welcome this special year, we have created a space artwork together with the Reach Visual team (a worldwide famous audiovisual design team from the Netherlands) that will take you to a space journey you'll never forget... The bridge is controlled by Commander Sven Väth, DJ Karotte and Joris Voorn in turns – a constellation that doesn't need any more words to be described. The countdown has started. Welcome to the Space Odyssey!
In the adjoining Shuttle, it’s all about Rock da House with the masters of sound C-Rock, Stoopid and Nima Gorji. The latter was born in Iran, moved away in the 80s and has been living in Denmark and Israel since then. His productions are released for ten years already, and his recently released track "Japanese Sword" on the Maxi "Return Of The Samurai Part One" on British label Tsuba Records is currently circling around in everybody’s cases.

2010 – Das Jahr, in dem wir Kontakt aufnehmen.
1984 noch ferne Zukunftsvision auf Celluloid, in Frankfurt visionäre Clubrealität. Das U.F.O. ist bekanntlich seit einigen Sternzeiten gelandet und der darin gelegene Cocoonclub blickt weiterhin in die Zukunft und präsentiert stets musikalische Lebensformen, die über das enorme Soundsystem außergewöhnliche Messwerte an die Raumschiffbesucher senden. Zum Jahreswechsel wird passend dazu ein ganz spezielles Artwork in Weltraumoptik geboten, für das Reach Visuals verantwortlich zeichnet, ein in Clubkreisen weltweit bekanntes, audiovisuelles Designunternehmen aus Holland. Für die futuristischen Klänge on Board des Cocoon-Hauptschiffs werden sich auf der Kontrollbrücke die Commander Sven Väth, Karotte und Joris Voorn an den Reglern abwechseln, eine klangliche Dreier-Konstellation die nicht mehr vieler Worte bedarf. Der Countdown läuft …!
Im benachbarten Shuttle heißt es Rock da House mit den Tonmeistern C-Rock, Stoopid und Nima Gorji. Letzterer wurde im Iran geboren, ging in den 80ern ins Ausland und lebt heute abwechselnd in Dänemark und Israel. Seit 10 Jahren werden seine Produktionen veröffentlicht, kürzlich machte vor allem sein Beitrag "Japanese Sword" zur Maxi "Return Of The Samurai Part One" auf dem englischen Label Tsuba Records die Runde.
