Center Channel’s home for the festival is the elegant Ukrainian Culture Center, which is notable for its rich history as one of L.A.’s original punk rock venues and is among the last of its kind still in operation. Its legendary line-ups stretch back to the origins of the Hollywood punk scene in the late 1970s; Black Flag, Bad Brains, D.O.A., Minutemen, and Circle Jerks are just a handful of the legendary DIY bands to play UCC. For Red Bull Music Festival’s inaugural event, we will pay homage to the legacy of this historic venue by staging an all day marathon of classic California punk rock documentaries, narrative films, and compilations so that the legions of American punks can once again return to the stage at UCC.

Red Bull Music returns to the City of Angels for the next installment of the critically acclaimed international music series. From February 7th until February 28, Red Bull Music Festival Los Angeles 2019 will explore how music intersects with film, gaming, photography and more, as well as partnering with groundbreaking artists from Los Angeles and around the world for special performances and lectures. The festival made it’s Los Angeles debut in the Fall of 2017 and this year’s installment follows six acclaimed Red Bull Music Festivals in New York City, and the festival’s Chicago debut this fall.
