- Valentines day will come & go, but we'll be here for you and your love hangovers this month at BUMP with international influences coming together by Hugo Capablanca (Discos Capablanca / Berlin) & Bryce Hackford (DFA Records / Spring Theory / NYC) Spanish born Hugo Capablanca said "I'm moving to Berlin!" well over a decade ago and he has embraced and embodied the city's heritage of mixing styles and cultures through his productions, label, DJing and personal look -- well beyond its present dance world reputation as Techno Captial. Through Wild nights at ze clubs you read about and his label Discos Capablanca, Hugo has made himself known for melting psychedelic influences, disco, industrial, acid and other far out genres and styles together. Super Romantico in name and style, Hugo will bring those qualities of the Berlin We Believe In to this session! Joining him is NYC's "ambassador of ecstatic states" Bryce Hackford. Best known for remixes on DFA Records and his very own pitchfork featured productions with experimental leanings. Bryce knows the art of the party through a seasoned NY's eyes.
