- BRAZEN resurfaces after a lengthy spell on the sidelines to present the mysterious duo Papers. Co-owners of the Brothers techno label and their recent sub-label Sisters, they offered some of the most forward-thinking underground dance music to surface from the UK in recent years, fusing post-rave, industrial and broken beat elements into 4/4 techno assaults. As a label and as an artist, the two brothers released a series of well-received EPs on their own imprint, then proceeded to enter a 5-year hiatus; time well spent as they now return with a crate full of unreleased material brimming in substance and again, pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the dancefloor. Tough and unrelenting, expect no-nonsense techno with support from some of the best local acts in Shanghai, MINIMALIST’s Will A and VOID members nmlss and Provoda.
