Freedonia celebrates the March edition of Freedonia Club, a monthly night where the two rooms of the venue programming the best local and international dj's. The Discobar focused on disco music and its derivatives and the Sala Margot dedicated to rhythms and sounds closer to house, acid, dark disco and electro. This time we will have the duo Berliner Pardon Moi in a live show of authentic luxury.
MARGOT ROOM
Pardon Moi (Höga Nord-Berlin)
Berlin based New Wave and Dance retro-futurist duo, is formed by producer/composer James Brook (UK) and producer/DJ Thomas Freudenthal (DE). His works have been presented with great impact on BBC Radio and remixed by an authentic "Dream Team" of great names like Lauren Laverne, Jennifer Cardini or Andrew Weatherall. The remix of his single Power to the People, performed by Damon Jee, was placed at number 17 on the "Best of 2017" list by BEATPORT.
Its creative, stimulating and retro sound, thanks to the use of analog synthesizers, moves us towards a futuristic utopia built in a world where the 90s never happened.

Luis Costa (Dance / Cod)
Also known as Dj Lui, he has been a resident of Razzmatazz Clubs since 2009. He has played with artists such as Daniel Avery, Andrew Weatherall, Curses, Marvin & Guy, La Mverte, Lindstrom or Psychemagyk. Since 2013 he organizes Danceteria, where Moscoman, Marc Piñol, Zombies in Miami, Curses, Hugo Capablanca, Damon Jee, Demian, Bizarre Club, Gameboyz, Golden Bug, Undo or Abstraxion have performed. He dj´s regularly in national clubs such Ballesta and Demodé (Madrid), La Carbonera (Valencia), Dabadaba (San Sebastián) or Katos (Pamplona); and in Barcelona venues such LAUT, Moog, Garatge 442 and Freedonia. He is the author of the book ¡Bacalao !. Oral History of Dance Music in Valencia 1980-1995, and collaborator of La Vanguardia, Rockdelux, Denso Mag and Clubbing in Spain.

Fledermaus (Freedonia Club)
Arrived in Barcelona in 2010, has not stopped shaking the musical underworld of the city since then, first as a programmer of the bar Lupita del Raval, where a bunch of of great national and international names have played and now as a programmer and resident DJ of the Margot room of Freedonia.
As a producer, Fledermaus has released 4 references with the Novak label, and next April 2019 the prestigious label Dogs & Vultures will publish its new E.P.
The sessions of Fledermaus as dj, are an explosion of ideas obtained after years of passion for music with mixes where synthesizers and guitars are always present.

DISCO BAR
Black Flamingo Disco Driver (11/11)
Spanish/Chilean based in Berlin and vinyl activist since 1997, he moved in 2000 to Barcelona where he discovered and absorbed the club culture in venues like Nitsa, Razzmatazz or BeCool. Until 2009, he looked for a sound closer to the Disco, Letfield, Slow techno, Idm, New Wave, Ebm or Electro. Since then, his sound is moving in the direction of connecting the roots of black music with contemporary sound.
Currently he is half of Electric Selectors and 11:11, in addition to his recent signing with United Colors Of Rhythm where his first productions are going to be published. He played in clubs like Razzmatazz, Be Cool, Row 14, Clubzoreks, Subma, Kode, Artecht, Flash or Florida 135.

Spacer (11/11)
Influenced by the music of the 60's, 70's and 80's, SPACER discovered electronic music in clubs, which immediately makes it a dance floor addict. In her sets she explores sound without understanding limits and seeks, beyond the genre, to get excited and connect with people. SPACER is the result of exploring her darkest part, where she mixes with elegance styles such EBM, electro, acid, techno and italo.
