We’re excited to reveal we’ll be touring Brazil as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations this April, taking over three of the most coveted clubs in South America for a series of XX showcases.
For the last two decades we’ve proudly built and nurtured an international community from our home in London’s EC1, welcoming legions of electronic music lovers from all corners of the globe. Our 20-year milestone is a chance to connect with some of our international friends by presenting the best of what we do, in spaces we love around the world.
Our debut on South American soil will see us landing at three of Brazil’s most beloved spots for electronic music. On Thursday 18th April, we’ll link up with RARA, the nomadic rave crew known for uncovering some of Rio de Janeiro’s most unique party locations. The following night, we’ll be dancing until sunrise at the world’s greatest seaside venue: Warung Beach Club. We’ll round off the weekend on Saturday 20th at São Paulo’s beloved audio-visual late night experience, D-EDGE. From high-class sound and lighting to dazzling outdoor settings, every spot has its own charm and identity that we’re proud to be putting our stamp on.
We’ll be heading to Brazil with two UK artists whose unfaltering devotion to the craft of DJing has earned them global acclaim. Our founding resident Craig Richards will be presenting the sound and vision of the Farringdon spot he’s helped shape since 1999. Joining him is Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO, whose dexterous versatility has made him one of the most exciting DJs in the world today. The pair have a long history both with us and one another, and will no doubt represent the best of everything we do. Every night they’ll be joined by local resident DJs that have helped fuel the energy of their vibrant South American scenes.
