On SUNDAY 21st April we return to 93 Feet East for all day Easter Edition.
Expect a Sunny afternoon the courtyard, pumping Electronic Music inside, and our Art Pieces and production setup throughout.
Canadian born Jonny White, now the lone force behind renowned act and industry stalwart Art Department, needs little introduction. As a duo alongside Kenny Glasgow, the act became highly celebrated for their immersive and unique sound, becoming residents at DC10 in Ibiza and garnering accolades of “Track of the Year” from Resident Advisor, Groovemag and Mixmag for their Crosstown Rebels released ‘Without You’. More recently, White has evolved a heavier, more dubby House and Techno sound. His own imprints, Sunday Monday and No.19 Music, have arisen from his passion for cultivating underground culture, and focus on a post minimal and deep electronic spectrum. His dedication to the scene have insured that Art Department remains a driving force in the world of dance music, and we are very excited to welcome him.
Joining Art Department is Point G, real name Gregory Darsa. With a career that stretches back to the early 90s, Darsa, also known as DJ Gregory, has lived a long and fruitful life in house music. Well known for his collaborations with fellow Parisien Julien Jabre under their ‘Soha’ alias, Darsa's career has been one of myriad phases, projects and places, with Darsa himself a key player in Paris’s mid 90s love affair with house music that become known as the “French Touch”. Releasing music under the ‘.g' alias since the mid ’90s, classics like ‘Underwater‘ and ‘Chicken Coma‘ have seen reissues in more recent years, prompting him to revive the 1997 moniker in 2013, which has since served as the handle for Darsa's leaner and more stripped-back house and grooving heads down club creations. Joining us for a DJ set, we look forward to this true industry veteran bringing the Point G experience to East London.
