The third edition of It Isn’t Happening (IIH) takes place from May 31st to June 2nd, 2019 at various venues on and around the former factory site "Auf AEG". Visitors can experience concerts, performances, workshops and sound installations as well as club nights on the inner and outer spaces of the AEG area.
The focus is on experimental sounds, installations, a/v performances and club music from the field of contemporary & electronic music as well as pop, sound art and improvisation.
"Kulturwerkstatt Auf AEG" is the center of the festival – with a focus on concerts from Friday to Sunday. The club program follows up Friday and Saturday night at "Werkhalle 61". In addition, the "Akademie Galerie" will be run by the class Dynamic Acoustic Research (DAF) throughout the entire festival period: The gallery is permanently and freely accessible and turns into a cosmos for acoustic experience.The program is completed by the Modular Organ System Installation at "Heizhaus".

Die dritte Ausgabe von It Isn’t Happening findet vom 31.5. bis 2.6. an unterschiedlichen Orten auf dem und um das ehemalige AEG-Fabrikareal statt. Innen- und Außenräume werden für ein Wochenende mit Konzerten, Clubnächten, Performances, Workshops und Installationen bespielt.
Der Fokus liegt auf grenzgängerisch-experimentellen Sounds, Installationen, A/V-Performances und Club-Musik aus der zeitgenössischen & elektronischen Musik sowie Pop, Sound-Art und Improvisation.
Die Kulturwerkstatt Auf AEG wird zum Festivalzentrum – hier finden von Freitag bis Sonntag schwerpunktmäßig Konzerte statt. In der Werkhalle 61 folgt Freitag- und Samstag-Nacht das Clubprogramm. Zusätzlich wird die Akademie Galerie über den gesamten Festivalzeitraum durch die Projektklasse Dynamische Akustische Forschung (DAF) bespielt und zum frei zugänglichen Kosmos für akustische Erfahrung. Abgerundet wird das Programm durch die "Modular Organ System" Installation im Heizhaus (Quellkollektiv).
