Baltra brings his chuggy, groovy lo-fi beats to the basement for his Patterns debut on the 15th of June.
Starting off on New York’s underground circuit, Baltra has spent years honing his craft & making a name for himself - and it’s paid off. He quickly gained a lot of international attention after his dazzling Boiler Room debut back in 2017, where he really showcased what he’s about. Leaving everything a little rough and ready around the edges, everything he makes is emotive with hints of melancholy, hitting you right in the feels.
A string of releases across Axe on Wax, Shall Not Fade, 96 & Forever and more, as well as remixes for Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs & Unkown Mortal Orchestra, it’s difficult to doubt Baltra’s strength as a producer. As a DJ, he’s played for Mixmag & The Lot Radio, and has earned slots at top clubs such as Phonox & XOYO, so it’s an absolute pleasure to welcome him to Brighton for his South Coast debut this summer.
