Sagan Club and Electronic Wave collective join forces to bring the Dutch producer Roel Dijcks aka Ekman to Madrid. Next Friday, March 29th we can enjoy in the Siroco Club a session of this master of risky electro and darker techno, which will be accompanied by Julia Pé - collaborator Intergalactic FM -, and Hyman Bass and Jose Saez , residents of Sagan Club and Electronic Wave.
Ekman is one of those elusive figures emerged from the Dutch electro scene that has been providing us with such good music over the last few years. His productions have been heard in reputed labels such as Shipwrec - where he has published four works, including his latest LP, "Primus Motor" (2018) -, Berceuse Heroique or Bedouin Records, among others. It´s sound is characterized by fusing the old school of the west coast of Holland with the new wave of techno and more abrasive electro, resulting in productions that can be enjoyed both on the dance floor and also on a night walk around the city. In this new visit to Madrid he will offer us a DJ set in which he will show all his influences and new musical obsessions in a session that promises very good moments.
Julia Pé is an experienced Asturian DJ affiliated with the collective and radio Intergalactic FM after watching the great IF, thanks to its ease and technique behind the dishes, which has led him to play at various parties in Mexico and Spain, collaborating with different groups as Scattered Music, Analogical Force or Liquor. In his fantastic sets based on vinyl, styles such as electro or techno coexist and blend perfectly.
The warm-up of both sessions will be in charge of Hyman Bass and Jose Saez, resident DJs of the Sagan Club and Electronic Wave collectives, who will do a good selection of electro, IDM and techno at low revolutions to keep the dance floor warm.
