AWB is a key figure in Paris’ techno scene. He is the co-founder of Taapion Records, together with Shlømo & PVNV as well as a resident of the Blocaus event series, alongside Anetha, ABSL, BLNDR, Exal and Von Grall. In March 2016, he released “Celestial Longitude”, his solo debut EP on Taapion Records and later on, two tracks on Soma and Raw Imprint, both on VA albums. By the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018, he released two solo EP, both full of his emotional identity: “Kinetic Lullaby” (Taapion) and “Bloomingville” (Blocaus Series).
His sound oscillates between deep ambient/atmospheric techno along broken beats, with trip hop, IDM and film scoring influence.
Behind the decks, AWB is mixing a wide music range from deep, intricate techno to drum & bass music. He made his debut at Berghain in May 2017, and this summer he played his first solo live act during the last edition of the famous Freqs of Nature festival in Germany. Since the beginning of the year, AWB is focused of his self-development by planning the future: music bridges, collabs, solo EPs and a new music project are on the way…
