- The Basement: Legowelt's sets twist and turn through techno, electro and more, and we are delighted to welcome the Dutch synth maverick Danny Wolfers to XOYO. 'It's often said that Legowelt is one of dance music's most prolific artists' - Resident Advisor. With him in the main room is Disco Halal’s Acid Arab. Absorbing a myriad of musical influences from oriental and Arabic to Turkish and Indian, Acid Arab’s Musique De France won them legions of admirers including Gilles Peterson. Green Room: In the Green Room will be Peckham's Yam Record's finest names - Joe Armon-Jones, a prodigious, head-turning keys player, whose debut album Starting Today acts as proof of the aforementioned. Never too far away, DJ and producer Maxwell Owin also joins us - seemingly linked to a plethora of the London jazz-fused releases in recent years, Owin is heavily involved in the scene. Notably, his collaboration with Joe Armon-Jones on their 'IDIOM' record reflects his talent as a producer. Supplying the MCing on the evening are Rhythm Section spitter Pinty - both involved heavily in a number of local projects; Peckham through and through. - Admission to XOYO is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry.
