FANTASMA presenta a SEVERED HEADS
Since 1979 Australian music pioneers Severed Heads have thumped out noisy disco that’s inspired dance styles from EBM to Chicago House. Forty years ago there were no samplers, no computers, and the sound came from the same tape recorders and oscillators that fuelled 20th century avant-garde music. Club singles like Dead Eyes Opened and Greater Reward now jostle with aggressive noise-scapes and weird computer games. Although contemporary to ‘old school’ acts like Kraftwerk and Yello, Severed Heads continue to mutate into new sounds and visions.
A Severed Heads show is somewhere between an arcade game and a live gig - a big screen and a big sound combine the cinematic and the ecstatic.
The band is touring Australia, Europe and North American in 2019 to celebrate their 40th birthday.

Vuelve Fantasma, y lo hace trayendo a uno de los grupos más respetados de la escena post-punk australiana: nada menos que Severed Heads. Banda fundacional de la EBM, el sonido synth wave y la música industrial, ellos fueron uno de los primeros grupos en definir el concepto de banda multimedia.
Tras su paso por el festival Dekmantel o Krankbrother en Londres, su concierto en Madrid será la última parada de su gira europea.
Será el viernes 31 de mayo en La Noche de El Sol y junto a ellos estarán a Yayo V (El Cuerpo del Disco), Fer Xplosion (Discoteca) y Guillermo M Ferrando (The Ballroom) en cabina.
