OUR FUTURE IS ALMOST HERE. THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES.
Womb held it's first huge music festival, WOMB ADVENTURE, in December 2008. 7,000 revellers came to witness what Womb intends to paint for the future. On the day, in the 'Womb World Wide' area, Richie Hawtin's M-nus all-star crew performed. To celebrate their 10th Anniversary they toured 10 cities in the world, playing their final show, Contakt, at Womb Adventure. In the 'Black Disco Area' they were joined by Hadoken!, Shitdisco, Kitsune, and Shinichi Osawa. Womb Adventure '08 established a legendary festival through the support of many Womb devotees.
The success of Womb Adventure was the result of 10 years of accumulated experiences and history at Womb. It was a combination of the strong connections with global and local artists, and Womb's famous LED screen, lasers and lighting. It demonstrated an outstanding staging ability compared to other music festivals. But the special feature of the festival was the sound quality: supervised by Steve Dash and Womb's famous sound system that has been at Womb Cruise, and Funktion-One.
This year Wombadventure '09 will return to Makuhari Messe! The staging will let the audience imagine the future of dance music festivals and jack the huge venue, Makuhari Mess. On this evening, the door of the future will be flung open by Womb and we will celebrate our 10th year anniversary in April 2010.
Womb has achieved tremendous growth these past 10 years, Womb Adventure will also evolve more and more and hopefully establish a new dance music culture. Be sure to come along and be a witness to this legendary festival that will definitely go down in dance music history.
