Odyssey is a club night hosted by Manchester Dj’s Stef Da Rogue and James Kumo. Inspired by the birth of modern house music, the Odyssey sound reaches back to the days of disco and stretches forward to today’s Balearic house scene.
At an Odyssey night you’re likely to hear a 70’s rock disco re-edit, mixed into classic New York House, mixed into a deep techno track. Odyssey truly is a homage to house music for music fans who want to dance and celebrate this amazing sound track to our lives. Classic tracks, new re-edits and brand new music, all get an airing.
Odyssey is not about limiting our view of house music to monotonous grooves that are easy to mix; we want to celebrate house music’s eclecticism and create a musical journey that feels strangely familiar, yet fresh and new.
