Joris Voorn returns to Room One. By now the Netherlands native is one of our staple artists, someone we cherish for his singular approach to producing and playing electronic music. Behind the decks, he’s thrives in championing an intensely modern strain of house and techno, a style that’s also manifested in his productions and label, Green. Over the years he’s honed a sound that takes in splashes of colour and bracing melodies, something that’s come to define his epic Room One performances. This June, he’s joined by Gui Boratto, the anthemic house master behind some of contemporary dance music’s most definitive records. The Kompakt artist joins us for a special live performance covering his acclaimed back catalogue, while our founding resident Terry Francis drops by with his own collection of house and techno mind-bogglers to round off the bill.
