Nastia returns to Room One alongside Daria Kolosova. The esteemed Ukrainian selector is one of the world’s most sought-after DJs, beloved for her expansive tastes and infectious playing style. Her sets can cross anything from bubbling minimal to sun-kissed drum & bass, but most of the time she’s known for her love of stinging electro and techno. For her next appearance with us, she steps up alongside Daria Kolosova, the rising Ukrainian DJ and resident of Kiev’s acclaimed Materia party. Kolosova has had a rapid ascent through her gripping techno sound over the last few years, and with a string of dates performing back-to-back with Nastia, recently she’s appeared in some of the world’s most revered clubs. Joining Nastia and Daria Kolosova in Room One are Slam, whose position at the vanguard of techno dates back to the early 90s. In 1991 they started releasing music through Soma Quality, their visionary imprint that’s widely considered one of the most important in techno history. They’ve been behind many seminal records over the last 30 years, and they’re also among the world’s most accomplished DJs, still regularly appearing at revered clubs across the globe. This June, the Glasgow duo makes a return to play Room One for a night that should cover every shade of techno.
