So after yet another sold out show at Joshua Brooks with Darius Syrossian (6 in a row now in less than a year)
his Moxy MuzikMuzik party returns on May 10th for its final show until we return in August to continue monthly due to Darius’ commitments with Amnesia Ibiza where he will now be playing a series of Fridays this summer.
April's show last week was another absolute belter & not only sold out but a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish with Darius cutting through so many different genres seamlessly & making it work, the last hour in particular where he moved from Techno into US house was his trademark way to end a night.
Big thanks to the previous local talent winners who have played brilliantly & Brad Bowker last week was no exception, May 10th sees Darius play another extended 4 hr set & he is joined by Pach the local talent winner for this one.
The Moxy Muzik label will see a release every month from end of April until August & include artists such as Enzo Siragusa, Ben Rau, Phil Weeks, Ray Mono, Seb Zito, Brandub, DJ Steve Lawler Rich NxT, Tommy Vicari Jnr, Christian Burkhardt & Darius Himself
With Sold out Moxy Muzik shows in Berlin, Budapest, London, Leeds & repeatedly at Joshua Brooks in Manchester this is the last one Darius will do at Joshua Brooks before he takes a 2 month break due to his Ibiza Residency Commitments so lets see it out with a bang
Some words from Darius:
'I want to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who has come to all the shows at Joshua Brooks over the last few months, these sets where i have been able to play long sets and take it on a proper journey have felt really rewarding as a DJ and are exactly why i became a DJ in the first place, seeing all the regular faces now that are appearing at the party also makes this extra special, & i even saw several tweets the next dat after the last show where people were saying it reminded them so much of my Sankeys Residency! Which feels right because similarly to that residency I have a free reign to explore musically in a club with a low ceiling, bad asss sound system, brick walls and pillars in the dancefloor and most of all a brilliant musically educated crowd to play to’ gutted it has to stop for 2 months but lets make may 10th another blinder'
**As this is the last Moxy party until August, we will be giving 200 wristbands out to the first 200 people who enter on the night and who have purchased a ticket to the very special afterparty, 4-6am where Darius and the local competition winner will be going b2b!**
