This month at BUMP -- No Way Back's Conor returns to the party after half a decade, Mr. Grimy Zernell's back in town to lift us up, and Redline's Carlos Morales makes his BUMP debut.
About Conor:
Those who know, know Conor. His party NO WAY BACK (with fellow bump alum Solar) was widely regarded as one of best underground jams in San Francisco over its 7 year run, during which time he put out records on Rong, Jolly Jams, and Public Release. He's spent 20+ years collecting records and performing in discos and parties across the U.S. including SF, NY, LA and Detroit,, playing alongside luminaries such as Greg Wilson, Mike Huckaby, LCD Soundsystem, Metro Area, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Maurice Fulton, ESG, Lindstrom, Pal Joey, Rub-N-Tug, Bebel Gilberto, Harvey, Trevor Jackson, Virgo Four, Optimo, Theo Parrish, Larry Heard, and Tim Sweeney. Conor owns serious party credentials and knows when and how to drop legit at the righttime everytime, so we''re stoked to have him back at BUMP.
About Zernell:
Most of you remember last year's party with Zernell and how high that went -- happy to have him back for his 2nd trip around the sequin glove. As one of the OG deep digging djs we at BUMP look up to most, he runs (and makes records for) one of the best edit labels of recent DJ history, Grimy Edits. Good luck snagging a copy of any of them now as these limited vinyl pressings are sold out worldwide and whomever is willing to part with their copy is marking them up $bigtime$. Zernell's vinyl releases are hard to come by because of his 30+ years of Djing experience, beginning in Chicago, which translate into his productions -- the records he makes sound like his DJ sets -- hot hot hot disco and house underground classics stripped down and cut up to spread fire further.

Also at the party is Carlos Morales -- from his BeatElectric blog beginnings to his present curation of LA's REDLINE party, Carlos has been digging up the almost-forgotten raw and real in dance music for well over a decade and will set the night right with an early b2b with Shige and Bob Dazzla.
