Founder of labels Steyoyoke, Steyoyoke Black, and Inner Symphony, Berlin-based Soul Button has been making a name for himself employing his signature ethereal sound on chart-topping releases. He makes his venue debut with South African rising star Themba who has seen support from the scene’s most influential tastemakers including Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, and Hot Since 82 in addition to regular appearances at Ibiza’s top venues like Hi and Ushuaïa. DC-Bonsai and Steyoyoke labelmates, Bonsai. round out the lineup. Support comes from Nick Flynn.

Based in Europe’s most vibrant music city, Berlin, Soul Button has undoubtedly left a distinctive mark on the local scene. His exceptional producing skills make him an aural innovator, empowering his work with a unique edge and thus stamping it with a distinguishable trademark sound - Ethereal Techno.
His labels Steyoyoke, Steyoyoke Black, and Inner Symphony have become an institution within the underground music circles. Along with his cutting edge radio shows and podcast series, Soul Button has substantially increased his following over the last few years. His international exposure and success affirms his place in the current electronic music scene.
‘Shadows’ was his first official EP released back in 2012. ‘Play Again’, ‘Swift Minds’ and ‘Wraith’ were three monumental EPs that followed. In May 2017, ‘Master Of My Fate’, gained much recognition from numerous high profile artists and quickly climbed the Beatport Deep House chart. After a number of top notch remixes, he kicked off 2018 with an extraordinary EP, ‘Reverie’, which peaked at #4 in the general Beatport chart.
With an album project in the pipeline, multiple shows booked across the globe, including key festivals, Soul Button is focused on the continued growth and development of both his artistic output and labels in 2019 and beyond.
THEMBA:
South African native Themba burst onto the global dance scene in 2018 with a string of high profile gigs and music releases. 2019 has already seen Themba play a sell out show at the Brixton 02 Academy in London, warming up for Black Coffee. He played the Luciano & Friends party in Tulum Mexico, as well as Paris Fashion week with Nic Fanciulli . At this year's Miami Music Week he played at the Black Coffee and All Gone Pete Tong shows, where Themba's set was used as the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix for Pete Tong's show that week.
Themba's sound is forged from his African roots, incorporating local singers, songwriters and percussionists to create his own unique take on electronic music. His 'Paliva EP' & 'Haai EP' were both released on the Knee Deep In Sound label in 2018, as well as 'Vuma / Lost' on Yoshitoshi. The highly acclaimed 'Who Is Themba?' on his own Herd label remains in the Beatport chart 10 months after it's release. His music has been heavily supported by Black Coffee, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, Hot Since 82, Damian Lazarus, Masters At Work and many more of the world's most influential tastemakers. Latest single 'The Wolf' on Herd has been causing a stir at all of Themba's recent shows.
This summer Themba is excited to be playing his first UK festival, Parklife in Manchester, alongside more shows in Ibiza and touring worldwide. Themba's productions continue to break the mold and he has numerous fresh releases lined up for 2019. He is also in demand as a remixer, recently adding his magic to Paxx (Tulum) 'Djoloren' on Stealth and Deepshakerz ‘Tell Me’ forthcoming on Saved.
2018 saw him play the Resistance, Elrow, supporting Faithless on tour and the Corona Sunset festival all in South Africa & supporting Black Coffee on his UK tour. Other highlights included his residency at Hi in Ibiza and a Mixmag Lab Live in NYC both with Black Coffee. Themba also made his debut at Ushuaia, Blue Marlin and Pacha in Ibiza.
Capturing the industry's attention, Themba has already featured in Mixmag, DJ Magazine Ibiza and DJ UK, Ushuaia Magazine, Faze and Deep House Amsterdam. His DJ mixes have featured on radio including Pete Tong's radio show, Apple Music's Beats 1 and Ibiza Sonica. Themba was also nominated for 'Best Newcomer' at the Ibiza DJ Awards and presented a short documentary for Beatport called 'Monitor Johannesburg'.
Themba has been made an ambassador for the Bridges For Music charity in South Africa, something very close to his heart. Themba & Dubfire hosted a workshop for young students at their school in Langa, which aims to become a learning space and creative hub where these young, talented individuals are able to pursue their dreams and develop their music skills, both in production and the music business.
BONSAI:
Tim Glusko and Ryan Hubert--known together as the DJ/producer duo Bonsai--hail from opposite ends of the United States and have found their signature sound with ethereal, rhythms and melodies. Their united story started in 2016, when Tim and Ryan connected over a common passion for music that explores the progression of light to dark, invoking their roots of taboo techno basements of the Northeast and clandestine desert raves of the West Coast. Bonsai is the result of these diverse backgrounds, common affinities and desire to share their creations with the world, ever-evolving into an entity all its own.
In their live sets, Bonsai take listeners on a self-exploratory pilgrimage from the rolling waves of progressive house and into the vast, mysterious and formidable world of melodic dark techno. They gradually expanded their reach through working with both LA and DC-based music collectives and playing notable venues and events, such as Flash D.C., El Techo, Party On The Potomac (Washington D.C.), Schimanski (NYC), Fortitude Collective beach and warehouse parties (Los Angeles) and Spin Night Club (San Diego). Recently, Bonsai's original music has been signed for upcoming EPs on Soul Button's Steyoyoke imprint and others to be disclosed later in 2019.
