Where does one start with Beats in Space except to say it is the most influential radio show in all of dance music. The brainchild of Tim Sweeney, BIS has been broadcasting from New York’s every Tuesday night on WNYU 89.1FM from 10:30pm to 1:00am since 1999. An incredible 20 years!
BIS further expanded their imprint by becoming a label in 2010, releasing records by E Ruscha V, Palmbomen II, Jacques Bon, Paradis, Shan, Antenna, Mount Liberation Unlimited, T & P, Tornado Wallace, Guiddo w/ Georges Perin, Lauer, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, House of Spirits, Matt Karmil, Hidden Fees, Dukes of Chutney, Crystal & S. Koshi, Gonno, Jee Day, and Secret Circuit.
We are honoured to be welcoming Tim Sweeney to the party bar for the very first time to celebrate his monumental contribution to the culture of dance music. He will be playing a 4 hour set with support from one of Sydney’s finest talents Adi Toohey.
