Dance with us on the 14th of June in a combined effort to raise funds to help Renfrewshire Food Banks, for those affected by food poverty in the area and also to donate to SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) who are operating in communities to provide a range of mental health support and services. Both of these projects are close to our heart, and we’ve been keen to do what we can to help, for a while now! We will be hosting an evening inside Club 69, with special guests Altern8 (Mark Archer) & Domenic Cappello who will also be playing for the good cause.
There will also be prizes and tickets to be won, which were donated from our amigos and peers from the ever-caring Scottish Clubbing community. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to give to the cause on the night - and you can also donate through our button on the Resident Advisor site when buying a ticket Please be generous! Our wee Paisley party palace has a limited capacity, so we advise purchasing the ticket in advance.
All ticket proceeds will be donated PERSONALLY to SAMH and also local food banks for families affected by this tragic food poverty. We want to support a nationwide network of food banks who provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty. There needs to an end for the need for food banks in Scotland!
Musically, as one half of Altern8, Mark Archer was one of the most recognisable characters on the rave scene of the early 90s. He's been producing music and releasing records since 1988. He really is a true acid house hero!
Also in on the fundraising action is one of our good pals! Domenic Cappello is described locally and known globally as a creative visionary, a groundbreaking electronic music icon, a world-class DJ, a master of his underground trade and a true ambassador of his native Glasgow.
Born, raised, sub-merged and baptised in similar basement fires, Domenic contributes the sort of maestro-made sets that have made him a hedonic cornerstone of his home nation, When he's in the mix and the red light is on, expect the exemplary and accept no substitution. No one knows this profession better than the guv’nor who has governed it and perfected it for over twenty-five years!
RA will also be donating 50% of the booking fee for each ticket bought to the cause too. See you on the dance floor.
