Ilian Tape arrives at Else on June 23 for a day and night of the finest techno, broken beats, and IDM. The Munich-based label of Dario and Marco Zenker, aka the Zenker Brothers, is recognised as one of the most consistent in the realms of abstract, dubby, and breakbeat aesthetics. Joining the Zenkers themselves is Shed, one of René Pawlowitz’s many aliases, with releases on Monkeytown, 50 Weapons, and Ostgut Ton. Ilian Tape’s own Skee Mask, whose ‘Compro’ LP marked the elusive Munich artist as one of the most innovative producers and live acts in electronic music, also joins, as does Julietta, a favorite of the Munich underground, who plays the opening set. Closing the lineup are Stenny and Andrea, both Ilian Tape regulars.
The party begins at 2pm local time, so get down early.
