- One Nation Under A Groove began as a series of legendary warehouse parties in and around pre-Gaslamp Quarter San Diego. Events happened every week in 100-year-old brick warehouses, WW2 era officer's clubs and swing ballrooms, Chicano cultural centers and more. Before starting One Nation it's founder Bart Blackstone had dj'd at Playschool at Hotel San Diego and the San Diego Sports Arena, and was resident DJ at the Pink Panther, the original Casbah and the original Whistle Stop. One Nation later hosted regular gigs at venues including Livewire, the new Whistle Stop, Green Circle Bar and Casbah. The club is free and happens irregularly.
