On Saturday we celebrate 5 years of Bassiani with their residents Héctor Oaks and NDRX.
Since it opened in 2014, Bassiani has gained a reputation as one of the best techno clubs in the world. Most importantly, Bassiani is a collective movement that stands at the forefront of the social changes in Georgia. Its vision and mission is to provide space where ravers feel safe, enjoy techno outside of the usual circuit and find their freedom.

■ HÉCTOR OAKS ■ Hailing from Madrid, Berlin based DJ, producer, and label head Héctor Oaks has been spinning for almost half his life. Playing exclusively vinyl, Oaks is known for his eclectic, genre-bending techno selection that has hints of funk, and ghetto. Oaks brings this vibe to Berlin’s infamous queer party Herrensauna at Tresor, where he serves as a resident and has graced the decks at Tbilisi’s legendary Bassiani Club.
■ NDRX ■ An important figure in Tbilisi’s electronic music scene, Ndrx is a resident DJ of Bassiani. He has been behind the decks for over a decade, fusing Experimental, Electro, Drum and Bass, and Techno in his sets and has played alongside the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Helena Hauff, and Aleksi Perälä, among others. He is also the founder of “11th Floor,” where he teaches an introduction to DJing class.
