- In 2018 the Cream Weekender returned to Butlins’ Minehead for the second year, and the hype around it certainly showed that the event is now a solid fixture in the winter-clubbing calendar. So hardcore fans across the UK and beyond will be more than pleased to hear it’s back for another outing this December, and it looks set to be bigger than ever. The three-day event is a prime example of Butlins’ highly successful move into hosting clubbing weekenders, an experiment that has certainly paid off and is now a solid part of their calendar. Teaming up with Cream offers an interesting twist on the traditional clubbing weekender, as patrons can combine a good old clubbing session with daytime pool parties, fairground rides, plenty of food, and of course more than a decent handful of bars - a perfect pre-Christmas party and a royal send off for what has been another solid year for both Cream and the UK clubbing scene in general.
