High Ground presents one of Australia’s most sonically diverse artists at the forefront of their 2nd nightlife escapade.
Consulate is better known as one half of WA duo Senate. Their brutal, no-nonsense techno bangers like Gangstalker, and Chambers have murdered dancefloors over for the past few years. Under his solo guise, Consulate favours a more refined track selection that leads to extended, genre-spanning sets broaching techno, new-wave, and jungle.
In support, we also welcome JAZZ, whose versatile selections have seen her making her mark as one of the fastest risers in Melbourne’s busy scene.
The party isn’t complete of course, without High Ground’s own selectors. J. P Sebastian is a man of few words, but he certainly makes his presence felt behind the decks, with his penchant for finding the most menacing of rarities in New Beat and 90s techno.
Tookie and Max Rebo will take the reigns arm in arm, back to back. The duo dubbed “Mi Julies” are known for everything from heart throbbing Italo, to high energy fast paced dance floor movers, even the occasional dance hall tribute can get a rotation.
