From early origins in beautiful Jamaica back in the 70’s, the people of the Windrush generation bought over their fresh sound to Britain, a sound known widely as Dancehall, a subculture that left a marked impact on British dance music culture.
Friday 5th July, we come together to celebrate the brilliant, joyful and sun-drenched sounds of the genre with some Brighton Dancehall fanatics and a few special guests. From Sasha to Super Cut, Koffee to Beenie Man, Barington Levy to Jacob Miller, expect all manner of infectious grooves to get your hips shaking in the dance.
With a focus on UK music, high production values and rounded nightclub experience, Foundations are cementing themselves as the number one go-to for Friday nights in Brighton. Working with the best local promoters to provide a fully fun and accessible night for the ravers.
