La Casella is back for a second year to celebrate world-class electronic music in the stunning natural surroundings of the Umbrian countryside.
A verdant paradise nestled high in the hills around the town of Ficulle, the La Casella grounds are home to an annual retreat of some of the most respected names in the UK and Italian balearic, cosmic, disco and house scenes. Dense woodland and olive groves stretch into the hazy horizon surrounded by woods and natural meadows, riparian and arboreal areas: this is a festival site like no other with unlimited possibilities to rejuvenate body and spirit.
2019 sees a lineup of cosmic and balearic legends such as Daniele Baldelli and Ray Mang playing alongside heavy-hitters from labels like Music For Dreams, BBE, Is it Balearic..? and Slow Motion Showcase. More a private party than a festival, La Casella does away with red tape, backstage and boundaries to create a truly intimate and immersive festival experience. Festival-goers and DJs drink, dine and party together with no distinction, whether by the pool in the afternoon or under the Umbrian stars at night.
Accommodation options are available in the form of hotel rooms, stunning period villas high in the hills or boutique teepee-style camping provided by Glastonbury's Pop-Up Hotel, all of these a few minutes walking from the main stage. Festival-goers can surround themselves in the incredible natural beauty of the La Casella resort for a night, a weekend or even extend their stay to relax before or after the festival.
Alongside the incredible lineup and location, La Casella Antico Fuedo di Campagna boasts a Michelin-starred kitchen serving some of the best Italian food in the region. Long candle-lit tables are host to sumptuous, curated five-course dinners, making for a unique ambience unparalleled by other festival experiences. Food and wine are served with a highly personal touch using only local, seasonal ingredients produced on the La Casella grounds.
