Coming from an education in classical music, Bellaire first dabbled in hip-hop production. He found his feet however, when he started to create house music - combining his instrumentation with hip-hop sampling, Bellaire quickly created his own clear-cut sound. Releasing his first EP 'Paris City Jazz' on his own label AOC France, Bellaire quickly gained local recognition and did a string of gigs across France. It wasn't long till his reputation had picked up a buzz all around Europe, securing him bookings in London, Liverpool, Berlin, Hamburg and beyond, and having his music picked up by Detroit Swindle & Trax Magazine.
