Born in the 80s with a Roland TB-303, acid house swept the nation as a social movement and anti-culture revolution, institutionalised as a golden-era for music and free spirit in the UK. Fast forward almost 40 years and its influence in today’s scene is still going strong.
UK techno veterans Posthuman are spearheads of the UK Acid House scene alongside the likes of Ceephax Acid Crew, Paranoid London, Luke Vibert and Jerome Hill. They duo are residents & bosses at clubnight & vinyl-only label ‘I Love Acid’ – over a hundred parties since 2007 in London, plus events across the UK and guest stages at festivals like Bloc Weekend and Bangface.
Their signature sound of raw acid house and slo-mo moody techno has been released on Tusk Wax, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, B12, Chiwax, Shipwrec, Criagie Knowes, plus their own imprints Balkan Vinyl & I Love Acid. We can’t wait to host Posthuman this summer.
Support in the club comes from resident Charles Green and Goddezz’ Kalli. Faro soundtracks the upstairs bar.
