White Noise Turns 4 Feat. Antix [NZ] & Hoten [SYD]

  • You’re invited to celebrate our 4th birthday! They say time flies when you’re having fun. For us, the last few years has been no exception for us, and the memories created throughout our monthly event series are closest to our heart. Many of the friends we’ve made along the way have become our family. When we kicked off our first event at Railway Hotel with Silversix and Roy El Kei back in 2015, we never dreamed of having the opportunity to showcase some of Australia’s, as well as the world’s best artists in house and techno. We’ve enjoyed every minute of sets from the likes of Matt Sassari, Kaiser Souzai, Budakid, Rafael Cerato, DJ Lion, Ash Roy and Secret Cinema & Egbert. And we have no intention of slowing down. On Friday, July 12th we’re celebrating this milestone with two artists that mean a great deal to us. They are well and truly part of the White Noise Family…. And so we’re welcoming back icons of New Zealand’s (and the world’s) progressive techno sphere, ANTIX & FIORD (a.k.a. Out of Sorts) – and Sydney’s brightest star who’s currently steamrolling the northern shores, Hoten! In support are some our favourite locals who’ve also played a huge part in where we are today. They represent what we’re all about as party-makers, and we’re proud to also call them members of our family. They are and B-tham, and DJ Moe Aloha. And of course the party wouldn’t be a White Noise party without our crew.. Stevie Strafford, Samuel Jay and Luke Lawrence. Without YOU being there to share it with us along the way, it would mean nothing, and so we hope you can all join us for this very special night. ________________________________ White Noise turns 4 w/ Antix [NZ] & Hoten [SYD] Friday, July 12th at New Guernica 10PM til LATE Presale tickets via Eventbrite ________________________________ ANTIX / FIORD (NZ) a.k.a. OUT OF SORTS https://soundcloud.com/outofsortsmusic https://soundcloud.com/antixmusic Brothers, studio partners and seasoned producers whose achievements to date encompass 4 albums, a fruitful international touring career and an array of heavyweight productions spread across their three monikers Fiord, Antix and Triangle. “The studio being our second home is our creative playground which gives us the confidence to work outside the square. The Fiord releases of late are hypnotic dance-floor monsters, we love to pack a punch and give people a thrill. The sound on the new Antix album tends to sway to the deeper emotional side with splashes of robotic funk and melancholic Indy dance. That’s the advantage of having so many projects, it allows us to evolve in many directions” Hailing from New Zealand with a musical background rich with influences from Ritchie Hawtin to Rhythm and Sound, Barton and Hayden have such a plethora of inspiration. It is indisputable that the quality of their music simply demands your attention. On their musical quest they continue to push new boundaries, mesmerizing audiences worldwide. Check out their work, and you’ll hear why. And as Out of Sorts... It's easy to assume that Out Of Sorts came Out Of Knowhere when their first remix made its way into the hands of Kompakt Records gaining attention of some of the biggest players in the game. But there's something about their productions that tells you they didn't – something bold lurks within those modern grooves and nostalgic moods telling us that we're not dealing with lucky amateurs. Because we're not. In fact, Out Of Sorts is the mysterious new identity fronting a duo who have seen huge international success under a different moniker. And with this new name comes a new sound that's difficult to pigeonhole, leaving the past almost irrelevant – except that this is a duo who know how to bring it. Which they are. From the grimiest clubs to the most revered festivals on the global circuit, somewhere in the abyss of electronica you'll hear the Out Of Sorts sound. HOTEN (SYD) https://soundcloud.com/hotenmusic Coming from the back of a 10+ year DJ career back in Brazil, Hoten has definitely taken over Sydney by storm over the last few years, as well as headlining events all over Australia, playing main stage at the biggest events and festivals in Sydney and supporting some of the biggest acts in the house and techno industry. His sets are always groovy, energetic and seamless, you’re in for a big treat on each of his performance. He’s recently killing on the production side of things as well, getting support from big acts across the world and bringing his soul in the shape of quality music. Undoubtedly a rising star in Australian’s scene. B-tham https://soundcloud.com/b-tham For east-coast Australian born B-tham, his profile has emulated an impressive array of progressive, deep and techno traits from day one. Notable around the country for his quality knowledge and solid dance floor contributions, the underground electronic devotee reigns an incredible reputation within the industry. Having also curated his record label business Late Night Music alongside Kazuki who together keep enthusiasts alive with solid music and a history of Dept of Late Nights events, B-tham is delivering electric quality to the scene. Moe Aloha https://soundcloud.com/moe-aloha Hailing from the mean streets of the East End, London: Moe Aloha has seen his roots and adoration for travel influence his uniquely diverse range in sound through his sets today. His first passion was in the garage punk scene with the first sounds to peak his interest being the Pixies, one of the primary influences of Nirvana. He then immersed himself in the sounds of the UK rave scene spending his formative teenage years raising gunfingers to the emerging sounds of UK Garage and Grime, and later through to the sound system culture in Dub, Jungle and Raggae. His passion in music from the West Indies led him through his time in Madrid and Barcelona of which he spent the best part of 2011-12 after travelling through Central America and landing there. It was here he discovered the power and sounds of electronic music that was to be the start of his love affair with the all encompassing ability that techno and house had to bring people together. And our family in tow.. Stevie Strafford https://soundcloud.com/steviemfs Samuel Jay https://soundcloud.com/samueljaymusic Luke Lawrence https://soundcloud.com/luke_lawrence
