London’s most sought after warehouse space, E1, continues to establish itself as one of the capital’s leading electronic music venues, laying host to one of the drum and bass genres most respected and esteemed imprints: Dispatch Recordings. With its bespoke ‘Wall of Sound’ system, E1 is the perfect space for a showcase from one of the scenes greatest.
Headed by the renowned Ant TC1, the 9th of August will see a veritable who’s who of the labels friends and affiliates descend upon the London venue, for an evening of boundary-pushing drum and bass. SINE Series will also be teaming up with the imprint, ensuring a standout debut on the bespoke ‘Wall of Sound’. This will be special.
Spearheading the lineup will be label frontman ANT TC1. Forming the label in 2001, eighteen years have passed whilst Dispatch has remained at the pinnacle of the drum and bass genre. As such, a suitably mammoth lineup has been brought in to mark their debut takeover of E1.
Drum and bass heavyweights Ulterior Motive will be joined by names such as Dispatch mainstay Nymfo - Rising star Grey Code will be also playing alongside acts such as Black Barrel, Flexout Audio affiliate Philth, Wreckless, Dabs, Tephra & Arkoze and SINE Series residents Apey and Maximous.
MCs for the night include the label traversing Codebreaker, fellow Dispatch affiliate MC Fokus and up-and-coming wordsmith Duskee.
Such a bill speaks volumes about the selection of talent that Dispatch nurtures and represents.
