Needs believe in people. The concept is to use music as a medium to spread love, unity and the idea of giving back. Promoting harmony and togetherness rather than isolation and estrangement, each release and accompanying event will act as a support stream to various issues within society such as mental health, homelessness, gender equality and environmental awareness.
Having launched in 2017, Needs have gone on to raise money for Mind UK, Crisis UK, Help Refugees, UN Women and Cool Earth, featuring artists such as Peggy Gou, D. Tiffany, Eris Drew, DJ Normal 4, Red Axes, Hodge, Juju & Jordash and Edward across their releases and events.
Having met in 2019, both CTRL SOUND and Needs now combine forces alongside a heavy-weight lineup and dance music's most in-form UK parties for a fundraiser in aid of the environment. In particular, in aid of climate change and deforestation, with all profits to Cool Earth.
