GIRL UNIT (Night Slugs)
London-based artist Phil Gamble aka Girl Unit has been responsible for one of the most refined sounds coming out of the UK in the modern era. A bedroom producer since a youth, he started putting out mixes as Girl U No Its True in 2006, getting his first taste of forward-thinking dance music at some of the early Night Slugs events in London. In 2010 He released his first EP IRL on the aforementioned label, a frenzy of vivid sawtooth waves riding a juke informed rhythm. Later that same year he released the underground classic Wut, an opus of airy trance leads and rap production theatrics. He followed with Club Rez in 2012, an EP of drum workouts and further developments on the grandiose nature of his previous release. Always heavily into vocal-led music, he began working with Kelela in 2013, producing Floor Show for her debut mixtape Cut 4 Me, and Rewind, the lead single from her follow-up EP Hallucinogen. For the next 5 years, he would work on Song Feel, his debut album, featuring his original collaborator and 5 other distinct vocalists, including Florida rapper Thast and spiritual crooner Rush Davis. It’s the document of a sound he’s been cultivating for his entire career, bringing his backbone of sound system music with his love of pop radio hits together to create his most fully-realized work to date. Girl Unit’s delicate balance of dance driven architecture and pop luster is an ethereal experience both in the club or on headphones at home. Connecting a disparate range of styles from rhythmic house to R&B, and underground music from the UK and beyond, his sound switches pace with ease and coherency. A tasteful mix of the primal nature of timeless drum machines with the glamour of science fiction, his sound is guaranteed to be around for along time to come.

DEE DIGGS (Shake!, Half Moon, Evlv Tech)
Dee Diggs is a DJ, event curator & organizer from Boston, MA but now based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, & femme. She is building and using her influence to create space for marginalized groups to express & organize themselves. Her aim is to sustain more spaces where these groups are valued and thanked by name for their contributions to humanity.

DEV/NULL (Shake!, Blog to the Oldskool)
Shake! resident Dev/Null got started by listening to Crazy Jungle / DNB in the mid to late 90’s, which then lead him to music production. Dev/Null now focuses much of his time on his website BLOG TO THE OLDSKOOL, 7 years running, that is dedicated to oldskool UK hardcore/jungle, as well as DJ-ing biweekly sets on online stations Jungletrain.net and Radio Frontline. Additionally, he started a label 8205 RECORDINGS dedicated to releasing unreleased 91-95 UK Jungle on vinyl, and was recently listed as one of Fact Magazine’s “100 Underrated DJs Who Deserves More Shine”.
