The noughties will soon be a distant memory, and what the hell do we call the next ten years?...Let’s not worry about all of that stuff too much right now though as we’ve got one last party of the decade to celebrate, before getting caught up in any of that stuff. We’d be honoured if you’d come and join us in celebrating as TECHNIQUE & LOUCHE combine to present our New Year’s Eve bash. We know that you’ve all got sick of being overcharged on NYE for the pleasure of seeing a ‘special’ guest. So for this year we thought we’d scrap the door charge as we take over the newly refurbished LOUNGE to bring you our trusty residents across two rooms. This year Technique have well and truly got back on the horse, hosting three sell out Garden Parties and a number of other one-off shows. Now in their ninth year Technique have continued to keep the quality high bringing you some high profile guests such as Marco Carola, Carl Craig and Magda as well as pushing forward with exciting upcoming talents such as Wolf + Lamb, The Revenge and Bearweasel. Louche have made the Mint Club their own, bringing a diverse mix of house and techno to the city. Always looking to showcase new talent, the party continues to be one of the most exciting nights in Leeds. Guests such as Seth Troxler and Mathias Kaden, aswell as label nights for Nekes' Oslo Records, has seen them gain a loyal following. Our residents are the ones who set the party up, who know you inside out and who get the room moving without seeking the limelight or credit. The ones who tirelessly strive to ensure that the setting is just right for that guest to tip you over the edge when they take over…so come along and celebrate with us as the residents take centre stage to welcome in the new decade.
